About us

We are a not for profit care home in Corbridge, Northumberland that provides dedicated care for up to 32 residents in our well-equipped nursing and residential rooms, 8 supported bungalows and a charity funded community respite care bed. We rely on donations to provide high quality care to those in need, no matter their financial situation. Any surplus income is invested back into our home for the benefit of our lovely residents, with exciting activities and outings, specialised equipment or essential resources. You can learn more about us at our website or visit our Facebook page

Our Community Respite Bed provides free of charge short term care to anyone over 65 years of age, living in Northumberland. It costs us £60,000 per year, and is entirely funded by donations and grants. Our respite bed provides high quality care for those who are elderly and frail, recovering from illnesses or operations or who are suffering from conditions such as MS, stroke, mild dementia, Parkinson's or similar. It is a key service for the local community, and provides a break to hard pressed carers looking after an elderly relative. For more information on our respite care bed please visit our website
