About

We're running the Great North Run for Pancreatic Cancer UK, again.

I (Ellen) first ran in 2021, and my husband Craig and brother Joe ran in 2022 while I was out of action, having just given birth to our first baby.

Joe and I then ran again in 2023. Craig said: "Never again." But look where he is now!

This charity is super important to us as we (Ellen & Joe) lost our mam to this vicious cancer in 2019. Unfortunately, our mam Miriam lived less than two months after her first doctor's appointment and mere weeks after receiving the official diagnosis.

For our mam there was no time for treatment, but this fantastic charity is currently funding some incredible research into getting people diagnosed earlier.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers with survival rates at just 7% for those five years after diagnosis. In fact, 7 out of 10 people are diagnosed too late for any treatment at all.

So, any donation to this charity would be massively appreciated.
