My Story

On Sunday 8th September, 2024 I will be taking part in the Great North Run!

Some of you may know that I set myself a challenge last year of focusing on running and completing a handful of 10ks of which I am really proud of.

This year I needed a new challenge but wasn't sure what it would be until I was asked by a friend (Alices Uncle) earlier in the year if I wanted to join him and some of the family and run the Great North Run in support of Alice.

Alice's story:

Alice was tragically murdered by a stalker in 2016 aged just 24 and the trust was set up in support of putting an end to stalking.

The trust is committed to raising awarness about stalking, ensuring effective legislation is in place and protecting victims.  Their mission is to educate young people about the risk of stalking and how to respond.
