My Story
Hello you lot, so this is it, I've said it out loud, I've written it down, I'm doing it!
The Great North Run. Gulp.
Why now? Well I worked out that on the 2nd of June this year I would have lived longer than my brilliant Mum did. 52 is no age at all, and as we all know cancer sucks (I wanted to use swearier words here but best not!) It's a day I've been dreading but also a day that I wanted to make count and try and turn into a positive of being lucky enough to be here to see the sun shine, my kids run around like loons and life in all its glory go on around me. That's why I've decided to do something to challenge myself, celebrate how amazing my Mum was and raise money towards the incredible work that Teesside Hospice do daily. I'm hoping you can spare a few pounds to keep me motivated through my training and across the finish line with my eternal thanks (I'm only planning on doing this the once!!)
