I love this charity, they step in to support 1000s of people seeking sanctuary every year, many of whom I've met. It's not an easy road for them, and whatever happens with their application to the home office, they deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness, and Action do that. There's always more that can be done, and over my last 3 years volunteering with them, I can see how far they stretch the donations they rely on. From teaching English, to form filling help, to patient listening, to food parcels and care packages for parents of newborns, they stand with these brave and often traumatised people in their time of need. Proud to be running for them this year! Cheers!
