My Story
Hi!
I decided to run the Gt. North half marathon in memory of my Dad, Roy Hindle. He passed away 30 years ago from Sudden Cardiac Arrhythmia. One day he was fine and the next gone suddenly in the night. Nothing prepares you for something like that.
I've chosen this year as I am the same age as he was when he died, 67 years old. It will be a huge achievement to do this and a great privilege to raise money for the BHF.
I have been doing the Parkrun for several years now. Raising my distance from 3 miles to 13 miles is the big challenge! 😁 Everything aches a bit more than it used to 🤣.
If you could sponsor me just a small amount I would be very happy and grateful.
I'm doing it for all 'the Oldies'!!!
