My Story

I'm thrilled to be taking on the Great North Run this year to support Twisting Ducks Theatre Company, an incredible charity that provides accessible arts opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people across Tyne and Wear and Northumberland.

Twisting Ducks supports over 500 people each year, helping them express themselves creatively, develop their skills, and build social connections. Whether they’re performing on stage, making music, or DJing, this charity empowers individuals to achieve their aspirations in the arts.

I was inspired to raise money for this amazing cause after hearing about the fantastic work they do from my best friend, Eleanor, who is a dedicated music and drama support worker. The impact Twisting Ducks has on people's lives is truly remarkable, and I’m proud to support them.

Every donation, big or small, will help Twisting Ducks continue to provide these vital opportunities and make a real difference in the lives of many.
