Tom Scoffham
My Story
This September I am running my first (and probably only!) half marathon at the Great North Run. I am running to raise funds to support the important work of the British Heart Foundation.
I am running in memory of my dad Chris Scoffham who died of a massive heart attack in 2008 and who is missed every day by me, my mum and sisters. My mum has survived two heart attacks and recently a close friend of mine has been bravely battling heart issues despite being the fittest man I know. My dad, mum and mate are therefore huge motivating factors in my training to raise money for the British Heart Foundation to aid their research into heart and circulatory diseases which remain the world’s biggest killers.
I shall be really grateful if you can spare a few pounds to donate to the British Heart Foundation. In return I will continue to train as hard as I can to get these little legs to run 21k😬
Thank you.
Tom
